GINO M. PEREIRA: FCCA - Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Pereira has over 25 years of executive, operational and financial experience with technology companies in the United States, Europe and the Far East. He has also helped to develop several technology start-ups as well as served in an executive capacity in a large multinational public company. Chief Financial Officer of Technest since February 14, 2005, he was appointed CEO in January 2008. In November 2001, Mr. Pereira became a founder and principal at Interim Management Solutions in Oxford, Connecticut. There, Mr. Pereira acted as a consultant for several small public and emerging companies. Prior to November 2001 Mr. Pereira was Chief Operating Officer for CDC Technologies, a medical device company, Divisional Vice President of Finance for Williams Holdings plc, a multinational public company, Group Financial Controller of Smallbone plc and Chief Accounting Officer of Norgine Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Mr. Pereira is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK) and has an MBA, with a specialty in finance, from the Manchester Business School in England.

NITIN KOTAK: FCA, FICWA, FCS - Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Mr. Kotak has more than 25 years of experience in managing finance, accounting, reporting, investor relations, taxation and information technology functions across various industries and countries. He served as the Vice President, Finance & Operations for Technest since November 2005. Prior to joining Technest, Mr. Kotak was the Vice President of Finance & Accounting for Able Laboratories, Inc., New Jersey, a publicly traded company with a market capitalization of about $500 million from October 2003. Prior to joining Able, from December 1999 to September 2003, Mr. Kotak was the Chief Financial Officer, Corporate Secretary and the Finance Member of the Board of Directors of Mattel Toys (India), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mattel Inc. Earlier Mr. Kotak has worked for over 17 years with ITC Limited, one of the largest companies in India with Net Sales of about $3.5 billion and market capitalization of over $13 billion. His last position with ITC was Vice President of Finance and Company Secretary for its Real Estate Business. Mr Kotak is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants (India), a Fellow of the Association of Cost & Works Accountants (India), a Fellow of the Association of Company Secretaries (India) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (with Honors) from the University of Calcutta.

STEVEN YI: PhD - Vice President R & D
Responsible for directing research and development efforts and transferring technologies into commercial products. He has over 15 years; experience in image processing, computer vision, and optics. He has been a primary investigator for many DoD programs Prior to joining Technest, he was a program manager for Athena Technologies, Inc. and ENSCO, Inc., where he worked on vision augmented UAV navigation, collision avoidance, IR sensing, and landing systems. He also managed numerous machine vision-related system designs. Dr. Yi holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He received his Masters degrees in both Physics (Temple University) and Electrical Engineering (Tsinghua University)with honors and has a BSc from Peking University.

DAVID TUNNELL: Vice President and Director 3D-ID
Over 17 years of experience in developing high-technology solutions for the US Government. 13 years were at the National Security Agency (NSA) serving in operations, support, and development. Formerly at L3 Communications where he served as Director of Engineering, overseeing the development of SIGINT solutions. and served as the primary interface with customers, bridging the gap between customer requirements and system design and engineering. He also managed technical personnel, budgets, schedules, and technical direction. Mr. Tunnell earned a Masters in Technical Management (MSTM) from Johns Hopkins University and a BSEE from the University of Tennessee.
