Genex's OmniEye WellCam was honored on June 23 by the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command as one of ten "Greatest Army Inventions" of the past year. Genex developed the system for the Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) to provide soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq with a tool to inspect wells and underground areas. The OmniEye WellCam is part of the OmniEye family of 360-degree surveillance systems, which offer full panoramic viewing and integrated intelligent algorithms.
