Futuristic security devices and facial recognition from Genex Technologies will appear soon on The History Channel. Genex’s segment will air on the program “Tactical to Practical” on June 22 at 8 p.m.. Show host Hunter Ellis visited Genex on January 28 to explore the advanced capabilities of the SureMatch 3D Suite for Facial Recognition and the OmniEye 360-degree camera. These systems were developed based upon technology originally conceived for the military, but have now become “practical” for use in retail, medical, and commercial applications. Patrick May, Genex Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said, “Genex continues to leverage technologies from our government clients to create systems that meet broader commercial applications. We are excited to share some of these with the broad audience of The History Channel.” |
