R&D DIVISION TECHNICAL MANAGER

Duties:
Responsible for the daily oversight and the technical & program management of all ongoing programs within the Research & Development Division at Genex Technologies. Interacts with industry and government agencies on current and future programs. Participates in preparation of proposals for submission for possible external funding. Specific tasks include resource allocation for a variety of programs, task scheduling, project management, and routine project progress reporting. Responsible for overseeing the timely and thorough delivery of products to customers based on contractual agreements.
Works directly for the Director for Research & Development, serving as the Division Deputy Director.
Requirements:
- M.S. degree, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
- Industry experience, preferably 4 years
- Program management experience
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Additional Desirable Attributes:
- Experience with image processing, computer vision, or machine vision
- Good understanding and experience on systems, algorithms, and embedded hardware

R&D STAFF SCIENTIST

Duties:
Contributes to the company’s overall technical efforts in a wide variety of computer vision and image processing related applications, to include medical, intelligent surveillance, and 3D face recognition. Assists the R&D Division Director in proposal bidding efforts including market research, providing technical supporting materials, and strengthening and expanding customer relations.
Requirements:
- Ph.D. in computer vision or image processing related field
- Industry / academic experience in computer vision or image processing area
- Strong programming skills in C or C++
